1. Overview of JTG-UM-GST9616 point infrared flame detector:
JTG-UM-GST9616 point-type infrared flame detector (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is a compound infrared flame detector, which can judge the fire by detecting the light signal of the flame in the two bands of the infrared light region.
The detector is suitable for detecting the burning of open flames produced by carbonaceous materials. It is used in large spaces where flames are the main source of fire at the initial stage. It can be used indoors or outdoors.
This detector will not cause false alarms for interference from sunlight, artificial light sources, heat radiation, etc., and the work is stable and reliable.
The JTG-UM-GST9616 detector has two working modes: coded and non-coded. When working in coding mode, the detector can be directly connected to the fire alarm controller produced by Gulf Company in the form of a bus, and the detector obtains power from the bus and transmits information through the bus. When working in non-coding mode, the detector needs DC24V power supply to transmit information through the relay contacts.
This detector is an explosion-proof product, which can be used in general civil places and industrial hazardous places, such as Zone 1 and Zone 2 in explosive gas environments and Zone 21 and Zone 22 in combustible dust places.
2. Technical characteristics of JTG-UM-GST9616 point infrared flame detector:
1. Working voltage:
Coding mode: bus power supply, voltage range: DC16V ~ DC28V
Non-coding mode: DC24V power supply, voltage range: DC20V~DC28V
2. Working current:
Encoding mode: monitoring current ≤ 2mA, alarm current ≤ 4mA;
Non-coding mode: monitoring current ≤ 19mA, alarm current ≤ 35mA
3. Sensitivity level:
The detector has three sensitivity levels, which meet the requirements of GB15631-1995.
The factory setting of the detector is Class I sensitivity, which is the highest sensitivity. Users can reduce the sensitivity level according to the needs of the site. The sensitivity level of the detector can be changed on site by using the electronic encoder produced by Gulf Company.
4. Detection range:
The furthest detection distance of the detector corresponds to a level I sensitivity of 25m, a level II sensitivity of 17m, and a level III sensitivity of 12m. The corresponding relationship between detection distance and angle is shown in Figure 1, and the shaded part is the detectable range. The semicircle in the figure represents the detection distance, which is given as a percentage.
5. Response time ≤30s;
6. Indicator lights:
Red LED: Periodically flashes when in monitoring status, and keeps on when in fire alarm;
Yellow LED: off when monitoring status, always on when fault occurs;
7. Contact output:
1) When the detector works in encoding mode, the contact output is not used, and the contact signal is invalid.
2) When the detector works in non-coding mode, it has fire alarm contact output and fault contact output.
Fire alarm contact output: passive normally open contact, contact capacity is 1A/30VDC;
Fault contact output: passive normally open contact, contact capacity 1A/30VDC.
8. Use environment:
Temperature: -20℃~+55℃
Relative humidity: ≤95%, non-condensing
9. Protection level: IP66
10. Dimensions: 166mm×235mm×199mm (with adjustment frame)
11. Installation hole distance: 125.5mm×80mm
12. Shell material and color: stainless steel, metallic gray
13. Cable requirements:
1) Coding mode: connect to the controller bus, use RVS twisted pair with core section ≥ 1.0mm2;
2) Non-coding mode: Connect with DC24V power supply, use cables with core cross-section ≥ 1.0mm2, cable outer diameter of 8mm ~ 10mm, it is recommended to use cables with copper core multi-strand conductors;
3) It should meet the requirements of the use environment, such as explosion-proof, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, fire-resistant, etc.
14. Weight:
Detector 4.8kg
Adjustment frame 1.3kg
15. Explosion-proof mark: ExdIICT6/DIPA21TA, T6 explosion-proof certificate number: CNEx06.0429
16. Executive standard: GB3836.1-2000, GB3836.2-2000, GB12476.1-2000, GB15631-1995
3. Test of JTG-UM-GST9616 point infrared flame detector:
Warning: Please wait until all the detectors are installed before turning on the power, and then test after working for 60 seconds.
1. The detector must be tested after installation or after each regular maintenance.
2. Test content:
1) The detector in encoding mode should be able to be registered by the controller after it is powered on; the red indicator light should flash periodically when it is in the monitoring state; after the detector is powered on for 20 minutes, it will light up the infrared light at a distance of about 1.5m in front of it. The light source and the detector should alarm and light the fire indicator light within 30s; the controller can reset the detector to return to the normal monitoring state.
2) For detectors in non-coding mode, the red indicator light should flash periodically when it is powered on and in the monitoring state; after the detector is powered on for 20 minutes, ignite the infrared light source at a distance of about 1.5m in front of it, and the detector should transmit within 30s The fire alarm contact signal is issued and the fire alarm indicator light is lit.
3. For detectors in encoding mode, after the test, the controller sends a communication command to reset the detector and notify the relevant management department that the system returns to normal.
4. For detectors in non-standard mode, after the test, the power is cut off directly, and the relevant management department is notified that the system returns to normal.
5. During the test, the unqualified detectors should be cleaned according to "Maintenance" and then tested again. If they still fail to pass the test, they should be returned for repair.
